There are two broad categories of services rendered by Play Paediatric Consult namely: (A) Quick Phone Enquiry and (B) Proper Consultation.
Quick Phone Enquiry (QPE) is only a minor service to give quick answers to minor enquiries from parents. This does not include making complaints about ill-health. Examples of QPE include: “Should I give my baby water to drink?”, “When should I start to give my baby other foods apart from milk?” “ What immunization is my baby due for?”
Any questions like, “My baby’s body is hot, what should I do?”, “My baby is passing watery stools, what medicine should I give?” will fall under Proper Consultation and will not be attended to via QPE.
Conversation with the doctor under QPE is ONLY via normal audio telephone call (Not text message, not WhatsApp or any other social media platform.) and cannot exceed 5 minutes per session. Any encounter requiring more than 5 minutes discussion and/or requiring sharing a video or photo will fall under Telemedicine Consultation. The appropriate process will therefore be required before proceeding.
Proper Consultation is through any of three different modes namely: (1) Telemedicine Consultation (2) Office/Clinic Consultation and (3) Home Consultation. The current fee for Quick Phone Enquiry (QPE) is N2000 a month per family or N20,000 per year per family via only one registered phone number. Payment is to be made either by direct transfer into this bank account- GTB, 0592702637, Play Paediatric Consult or via the Paystack channel links provided below.
